Job Finder requests read-only Gmail access by default. It stores provider message IDs, hashes and structured evidence — not raw email bodies. Email alert jobs enter the same dedupe pipeline as every other source at lower authority.

Public deployment gate
Phase 8 remains a private single-candidate workspace. Public authentication, authorization and a managed encrypted secret store are Phase 9 requirements; a Candidate ID or OAuth callback URL is never treated as authorization by itself.
